Fotima was curious when she heard that other women in a nearby village were meeting together and collecting small amounts of money to help one another start up in small business opportunities. “We met a sex-worker who had been to church over Christmas,” says an OM team member.  “She told us that there had been one song she really liked, and we asked her to sing it to us. She sang, ‘My Jesus, My Savior’, and we all joined in with her.  We were a small group on a street in the middle of the city in the early hours of the morning, with only drug addicts, ‘working women’ and their potential customers nearby.   Click here to read more...

A 16 years old girl, Anita, was rescued in August 2010. Anita is one of the many girls lured by the false promise of decent employment while her parents were absent earlier in the year. After months of desperate searching, Anita’s parents learned that her daughter had been trafficked, but there was nothing they could do to have their daughter returned home to them.
