Let Freedom Sing

Let Freedom Sing" will be a unique "evening of the arts" featuring the music of  2 local artists and our very own climber, Madison Baczewski, will be singing a special song as well. Music will be a compilation of the artist's original songs with a few Christmas songs mixed in and an original piece written specifically for the purpose of making known the injustice of human trafficking. The event will be held in a stunning new Theatre with beautiful ambiance and the intimacy of 250 seats. Lyrical dance will be woven into the evening along with a presentation on human trafficking and The Freedom Climb mission. A dessert and coffee reception will follow the show with an opportunity to learn more from the climbers, network with others and experience some additional creative expression to motivate all who attend to action.

The event theme, "Let Freedom Sing" was purposed to cause all guests to pause and consider our Savior's arrival… He came to set us free and as we gather at this event to celebrate our freedom… We also gather to see many others set free too!

Ladies on Spokes - Georgia

To raise awareness in her area, one climber was able to organize several events with her Christian bike club, Ladies on Spokes.

Several months ago I was riding with my Christian bike club, Ladies on Spokes, when the president rolled along side of me and told me she had seen what I was doing with the Freedom Climb. She thought it was awesome, and the club had wanted to get behind a cause for women just like this!  Her excitement led to them sponsoring two events for us. First we had a "Movie Night under the Stars" at my church showing the movie, "Taken."  We rented an outdoor movie screen and sold drinks and candy.  God blessed us with a beautiful fall night.  We didn't charge admission but did setup a table to give out info on the Freedom Climb and accept donations.   Each of the climbers who were there shared about the mission.

Our next event is a Poker Ride on Nov. 5th.  We'll ride 25 miles. Every five miles, riders will collect a card. Whoever has the best hand at the end is the winner. We are giving away a grand prize.  The first 100 riders will get t-shirts. It costs $25 to participate in the ride. It has been such a blessing having friends enthusiastically come alongside of us and help support the Freedom Climb.

Colorado Climb

Colorado Climb
In late September, 20 of the Freedom Climbers descended into Colorado Springs to meet other team members, adjust to the altitude, and participate in some serious practice treks for the Freedom Climb. Their practice treks included a 5,500 step long incline and the summit of Pike's Peak. Everyone enjoyed a great time of team building and encouragement.
